Br Douglas Dawick FMS of the Archdiocese of Wellington will be presented with his award on Sunday 13 February at Sts Peter & Paul Parish in Lower Hutt at 5.30pm.

On Sunday 20 March a Delargey Award will be presented to “The Team” from the Diocese of Palmerston North, made up of Michael O'Sullivan, Michael Buchanan and the late Kirsty Campbell. The presentation will take place at Sts Mary’s Parish in Whanganui at 9.00am.

The third 2010 Delargey Award will be presented to Tina Shore from the Diocese of Auckland on Sunday 27 March at the Cathedral of St Patrick & St Joseph in Auckland at 7.00pm.

The New Zealand Catholic Bishops Conference and its Office for Young People announced the recipients of the 2010 Delargey Awards in December of last year.

National Project Coordinator of the Office for Young People, Sr Helen O’Sullivan RNDM, says the Delargey Award presentations will “provide an opportunity to recognise and congratulate the 2010 recipients and to acknowledge all who give of their time and energy for the benefit and empowerment of young people in the Catholic church of Aotearoa New Zealand today”.
