Educated at St Therese’s Convent School and Marist Brothers’ Primary and Marist Brothers’ High Schools, Invercargill; Holy Name Seminary, Christchurch; Holy Cross College, Mosgiel

Ordained in Dunedin by Bishop Kavanagh on 27 June 1966
